The official FAQ distinguishes small tattoos, allowed in the large public bath, from larger tattoos, which should use the family bath.

A ¥500 coin is the facility’s approximate size comparison, not a cover-size guarantee. Family-bath reservation is same-day only; regular hotel closure Wednesdays and irregular dates apply.
